Nodal research strategy: information, interaction and complete laws¶
This document explains the scientific objective and how compatible mechanisms can be combined. The execution plan is the sole task queue; the portfolio classifies contributions. Definitions, results, implementations and tests belong to the theory-to-execution map.
1. Scientific objective¶
Investigate whether justified nodal dynamics can generate interacting organizations whose collective properties eventually explain independent physical observations. The ontology keeps this generative hypothesis separate from the conditional mathematics. EPI need not be a sensor reading: a collective observation map is allowed, but its preparation, clock and physical interpretation need independent support. The primary progression derives organization and its interaction properties from the nodal dynamics; it requires no prior identification of a primitive coordinate with a laboratory sensor. Direct-realization audits are auxiliary. Independent physical observation becomes the next obligation when a derived collective property has a specific falsifiable comparison.
An identity can persist while its constituents move. A larger NFR can retain smaller constituents and their causal influence; a supplied graph or partition does not establish its own emergence. Formation under declared conditions is a meaningful intermediate target before autonomous preparation, substrate origin or physical identification has been resolved.
The principal objective is to identify and justify TNFR's laws and hypotheses one at a time through their dependencies, including revisable foundational premises. Constructed organizations test the foundations that produced them. Compare complete laws on matched objects to distinguish consequences of retained geometry and information from consequences of a selected pressure, storage or event rule. A successful conditional construction is useful evidence for that model; it is not a reason to stop examining its independent premises. The law-admission audit governs this return to the bases, and the execution plan selects one unresolved question at a time. Each justified correction should improve the common foundations and their consumers rather than add an isolated fitted mechanism.
2. Information, interaction and complete laws¶
The common dependency is information -> interaction -> complete law. Formation, persistence, composition and physical comparison consume this same foundation rather than selecting separate fundamental laws.
| Question | Required distinction | Owner |
|---|---|---|
| What does an interaction consume? | Primitive state, derived moments, form/rate associations and retained origins | Information ledger, relation foundations |
| Which premises determine its response? | Additivity, locality, balance, storage and information restrictions have independent roles | Pressure scope, exchange admission |
| What predicts subsequent evolution? | An instantaneous message can omit state needed to evolve that message | Pattern memory, derived memory |
Closure audit: equations, events and identity¶
Start with sufficient state and every consumed pressure, phase, capacity, support, input and event law. Declare domains, units, held quantities and boundary cases. A clock change transforms every row; synchronization need not define a monotone clock. Capacity is not automatically frequency or inverse mass.
Removing one common origin can preserve relative dynamics; discarding the origins of separate components can lose information required at a later contact. Form reconstruction and origin accounting provide precise examples. A coordinate change, a changed primitive field and a lossy observation require different arguments. Event work and independently changing capacities retain their own balances.
Conditional law selection and independent information premises¶
The exchange owner derives conditional classifications, including sine current under bounded odd additivity and degree/first-resultant sufficiency. Those premises, the current scale and companion laws do not follow from the nodal identity alone. Native resultant-argument pressure is nonadditive; supplied conservative alternatives can retain equilibria or local responses while changing nonlinear accessibility. The owner's countermodels must therefore accompany any proposed selection principle.
A structural principle must justify a new restriction independently of the response it predicts. A physical discriminator must admit preparation, measurement and clock before its reserved response. If neither distinguishes alternatives, retain the constitutive freedom; repeated compatibility checks cannot promote it to uniqueness. The comparison atlas and phase-information protocol retain source-specific obstacles without opening separate campaigns.
Present interaction and sufficient future state¶
Instantaneous current, a sufficient state and a history-based description answer different questions. A derived moment need not be a new primitive; unweighted phase statistics can omit the phase/rate association consumed by future dynamics. The global pair state retains fine information through cancellation, whereas its observed interface can remain insensitive to internal orientation. The cancellation classification determines when the evolving environment reveals that information.
The mean-closure obstruction explains why changing the phase kernel alone cannot repair discarded internal state. Eliminating constituents can instead induce memory, correlations or many-body dependence. Such an effective law retains its hidden initialization, forcing and approximation domain; it cannot silently replace the fine law.
3. Model and formation premises that survive reuse¶
Match the complete law, support, capacity, clock, preparation and retained coordinates before combining results. The following boundaries prevent transferring a correct result to an incompatible model.
| Model family | Reuse boundary |
|---|---|
| Native resultant-direction exchange | Regular argument-domain admission; continuous claims and executor behavior remain distinct |
| Positive-loss sine dynamics | Dissipation and full-state preparation bounds remain premises of acquisition, recovery and composition |
| Conservative sine dynamics | Formation, invariant-family maintenance, geometric identity and recurrence have different preparation/support hypotheses |
| Alternative mobility or storage | Shared balances or equilibria do not transfer invariant measures or nonlinear trajectories |
| Operators and hybrid events | Configured words, jumps and live preconditions neither inherit continuous-storage guarantees nor derive occurrence |
Formation starts without the declared target identity. A two-sided invariant family cannot be entered from outside under the same unique flow. Autonomous evolution after supplied preparation, autonomous choice of preparation/support, and physical identification are separate claims. A failed sufficient bound is unavailable evidence, not a nonformation theorem.
4. Compatible mechanisms and their use¶
The connection map owns the detailed comparison of pulse, resonance, scale and geometry. These are the productive combinations, not an additional theorem inventory.
Pulse, resonance and retained internal motion¶
A probe response, periodic internal motion, recurrence and perturbation stability are distinct. Use the resonance owner to specify input/readout and the pulse foundation to distinguish active constituents from a universal permanent waveform. A time-dependent background may change response without adding a new force; a stationary response theorem must not be transferred to it unchanged.
Mean-contact feedback and exact bridge memory expose how hidden constituents affect visible motion. Their supports and nonlinear/tangent domains differ. A lift-dependent collective storage split can have a signed remainder; a nondecaying memory kernel does not derive irreversible local damping.
Collective inheritance retains constituents¶
Scale geometry and phase-offset partitions show how collective evolution can retain fine structure. This is the concrete route for testing the fractality hypothesis: identify which information and dynamics survive composition, then determine what forms that organization. An exact re-encoding is not necessarily a reduction, and a repeated graph or nested declaration alone does not derive a hierarchy.
Ordered geometry connects transfer to formation¶
The sine pattern owner combines entry, boundary work and maintenance under explicit hypotheses. Enough storage and compatible geometry do not establish a connecting trajectory; actual allocation and evolving contact rates matter. Preserve cycle/mean correlations when comparing budgets: overlapping marginal enclosures do not establish entry. Existence with flow-defined centers, an executable preparation and a validated numerical horizon remain separate evidence. Winding is one identity test, not a definition of every pattern.
Composition, memory and effective relations¶
Composition and retained memory connect identity to causal influence. An intermediary can mediate interaction without a primitive direct edge. Eliminating it must retain memory, hidden initial source and inventory. Constant means or cancelling currents do not establish absent internal motion. Supplied contact, effective interaction and primitive relation birth are different claims. Event passivity also does not select occurrence; continuous loss is not an event reserve without a reservoir law.
Organization-dependent nonlinear interaction¶
A class-dependent response and a nonlinear response answer different questions. A linear response may already distinguish two organizations; a nonlinear interaction in one organization need not distinguish it from another. To connect these claims, compare the same four-history mixed observable across actually acquired classes under one complete law. For an initial matched-source comparison, pair histories at the same full source within each class, while retaining independent preparation uncertainty and possibly unequal costs between classes. Repeated interventions instead carry distinct branch residuals: the joined return theorem requires a new return family and exact mean accounting, including the alternative model's own memory. Additive cancellation must not erase hidden initialization or nonlinear source sensitivity.
This comparison tests whether internal organization controls an interaction property beyond additive response. Interface symmetry can hide that property; nonzero local curvature or a different formal coefficient does not guarantee a finite observable contrast. A useful result therefore includes either a full-error separation or a proved, scoped obstruction. Insufficient bounds alone leave the claim unresolved. Physical comparison still requires an independent measurement and clock bridge for the particular property.
5. Physical confrontation and comparison¶
Physical comparison tests a named mechanism under the plan's P1-P5 contract. It does not require identifying every primitive variable with a sensor, but it does require an independently justified map and equally informed alternatives. An extracted phase need not be primitive phase or sufficient predictive state. A controlled reduction needs evolution-defect bounds beyond preparation and readout errors. Fitting pressure to the evaluated derivative is circular.
The atlas is the sole mechanism/source comparison library. A useful equivalence can validate a particular bridge without identifying a fundamental ontology. Previously inspected or evaluated responses remain prior information. Workstation-accessible terrestrial data and ordinary laboratory protocols set the scope; physical source status and reopening conditions belong to the plan.
6. Reuse, provenance and stopping¶
Reassess old hypotheses against current definitions, complete laws and actual source. The historical audit retains provenance and scope corrections. Auxiliary graph waves, arithmetic encodings or Hamiltonian comparisons may supply mathematics; their coefficients and verdicts do not transfer without a derivation. Inspection is not reproduction.
Use the theory-to-execution map for ownership, architecture for shared kernels and testing for relevant checks. Preserve frozen protocols, sources, responses and verdicts; corrections need separate provenance. Stop at the admitted proof, exclusion or precisely identified missing premise. The execution plan alone records the next task.
